She looks like she's given up hope
of finding her lost bar of soap.
"If on it I slip
 and go arse over tip
 I really would feel such a dope."

    I love this! You are a model of brevity. I know April is poetry month and I really need to try to write something for this amazing painting. Degas is a personal favorite.
