Microfiction Monday #68

Stony River's prompt this week sees two Old Salts discussing flotsam in fewer than 140 characters . . .

“See!  Haven’t I always said?  This proves it! That white frothy stuff on the crests o’ the waves?  Soapsuds!”

  6. A very sound assumption. The froth could very well be soap. Very good, I liked it!

  9. Thank you one and all. I thought it was about time someone came clean about the seafoam. At one time there was a UK washing powder branded "TIDE" and another branded "SURF." I rest my case.

  10. What's that white frothy stuff on the ends of their chins, then? Is that the good old "ERASMIC" shaving lather we used to get before the War? Excellent, funny MFM, BTW.

  11. Thought that myself, although you can put that to rest pretty quickly by tasting it. :-) My advice on that is "don't".

Richard, you commented on my site that I have a mistake in my URL that is making it difficult for people to find me...how and where did you spot this...I'm not sure how to fix it!
    Thanks,
