A Dawdle Through the AWDL

Imaginary Garden With Real Toads asks poets once again to wander through the byways of arcane (Welsh) form.  Here goes!

Todd Aid

Give what you can for poor Todd,
a bankrupt man.  That FTSE Index
cost him his all.  The Euro
his downfall. For Todd, what next?

  1. Clever, creative, wonderful!!! (Love the title of your blog. Looks like a fun place to be. I enjoyed your "About Me" section. I too am a language/writing/grammar purist. I taught high school English for 37 years; it makes me a little crazy to see writing degenerate because of technology. The only television I watch is re-runs of good old shows, especially "I Love Lucy." My chickens are all named for characters in the show! Have a great day.

  2. Oh brilliantly clever to incorporate Todd aid into a Toddaid. Wish I'd thought of that.

  5. If you can't have fun with poetry, what can you have fun with? Enjoyed this one.

Thank you for stopping by. To make life easier for you I have turned off the new indecipherable and time-wasting verification words. Would you care to "feedback" to Blogger and complain about them, like I did?
