A real Oooerr image from Tess at Willow Manor this week!
There was a young lady from Cheam
who could not explain her strange dream,
saying "I'm at a loss.
I might be Diana Ross -
but these guys are not the Supremes."
Many improving Magpies can be read via the Magpie site
But they are supreme!
ReplyDeleteYoung ladies from Cheam should enjoy these strange dreams.
ReplyDeleteA pleasing musical note sings from your words here, Doc!
ReplyDeletehaha great lyric...and that must have been some dream...lol
DeleteI just laughed out loud. For the first time today! If nothing else, I thank you for that. I fear I'm getting too serious and a drag. Very very good Doctor. You know the old adage: laughter is the best....
ReplyDeleteNot many would have found a limerick in that pic, but it fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteMark . . . see also No.10 on the LinkyList.
DeleteSplendid! Fits the prompt perfectly.
Deletelol... this is a great limerick... love the light tone...
ReplyDeleteHaha - cute, but I was hoping Simpleforth would comment on this one.
ReplyDeleteSadly, Mary, he can't comment this week. Here in the UK it is school mid-term and Simpleforth is away, taking part in the Charity Fun Run from Land's End to John O'Groats. He hopes to raise $30 minimum for his "Save the Simpleforth" fund.
DeleteFun and cool. :)
ReplyDeleteMy world is empty without you babe. I love your limerick. Thank you for sharing this "Supreme" expression of poetry.
ReplyDeleteAhem! (Ha!) K.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile. I love it.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I'm glad there are others who don't take these promopts too seriously!
ReplyDeleteNice one. Clever. I like it. Not a pic to be taken too seriously, anyway
ReplyDeleteHA!!!
ReplyDeleteBravo!!
ReplyDeleteYou're very fortunate to have so many legitimate, yet strange place-names to draw upon. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI do believe there's a town in our county of Essex called Steeple Bumpstead. We certainly have a Flushing and a Looe, which seem to go well together. Also a Ramsbottom, near Manchester, and Sandy Balls in the county of Somerset, But don't get me started.
Deletevery nice....thanks for sharing your words
ReplyDeleteheh heh......I hope I have a similar dream. Those arses are scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteLet's see! Let's see! By Golly, you're right.
DeleteMaybe not the Supreme..but definitely the best! So glad the world is so funny for you!!
ReplyDeleteI knew I could trust that somehow you would pull laughter out of this ( to me ) dark disturbing image.
ReplyDeleteDear Dr. FSTE: Flippin' funny mate~ hahah~ where's the ladies room?
ReplyDeleteWell a limerick is one way to go at it!
Deletehave a good week!
