"A Lot of Kisses on the Bottom . . . "(*)

Tess takes us back to the days of the Penny Post for this week's Mag.

Dear Miss Gibbs . . . there in Henley-in-Arden
I've been lifting the spuds in my garden.
I found one or two
that made me think of you

with my best regards . . and beg pardon.

    1. I believe Miss Gibbs was moved (by distraught relatives), as far away from Henley-in-Arden as possible.

  5. Dear Readers . . . although I took the photo of the strange potato - and can prove it from the exposure data attached to the original - it has escaped into the www and can be viewed on many sites if you care to Google Images for "funny potatoes" So someone owes me £Millions for breach of copyright that bloggers keep banging on about. Why should I care? I'm worth millions already, ladies, d'you hear?

  6. Millions of what, Doc, millions of what? Deformed spuds, perhaps? Hahahohohehe! Of course, you might be suggesting you are worth a million kisses on the bottom, which is an entirely different prospect. :)

    2. I couldn't possibly comment on that question, without a detailed study into your
      a) past life
      b) anatomy
      c) flavour ( N.B. isn't 'relish' another word for sauce? And everyone knows you're saucy! Q E D )

  8. Hmm. I doubt Miss Gibbs would like being compared to a potato. She probably has a few carrots that remind her of the sender!

Thank you for stopping by. To make life easier for you I have turned off the new indecipherable and time-wasting verification words. Would you care to "feedback" to Blogger and complain about them, like I did?
