Tess gives us a chilly picture for this week's prompt.
Three guys who were all clearly manic
said "Why don't we sink the Titanic?
We'll need lots of ice
but won't it be nice
to watch all the passengers panic."
The Ice Cutters, 1911, Natalia Goncharova
Note the date of the picture. The ice cutters had plenty of time . . . .
There are worthier efforts to be found here.
.
... none more worthy than yours!
ReplyDeleteoh I love your limericks! very cool....(sorry couldn't help myself ! )
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Thank you for the smile...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteDoc . . you should be the Court Jester
ReplyDeleteI was one of the few survivors of the events of that terrible night in April 1912. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to get a laugh at the expense of the 1000-plus souls who perished. The next time the Titanic sinks, I hope you're on it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I almost feel a little guilty for chuckling after that last comment. Almost...
ReplyDeleteToo clever by far...to be this funny...unsinkable!!
ReplyDeleteWell I think it's funny and I smiled, no I grinned!
ReplyDeleteVery clever take on the prompt. Enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteMischievous little ice Djinn....are they preparing an ice age to sink the industrial age ??
ReplyDelete…in this crazy world we live in today, anything is possible…
ReplyDeleteI'm late but so glad I got here! I needed that bit of humour to cheer up my dreary Friday night!
