A talented artist called Brown
went out for a night on the town.
Whilst under the spell
of liquor, he fell.
He scattered his pencils,
acrylics and stencils,
his charcoals, his oils
in colourful coils,
pinks, purples and blues
all got stuck to his shoes,
so he thought "If I dance
on a canvas, perchance
I will fashion a work of renown!"
(*)The unputdownable Penny has joined the groaning (oops, sorry, the growing) band of blogprompters. The rumour is that she will delight us with one of her own pictures every week and invite us to respond in writing. This is going to be fun!
Thinks:- It's years since I've been picked up enough to be unputdownable... But I like the thought! Have already got bare feet itching to dance amongst those imaginary tubes of paint. Thanks, Doc!ReplyDelete
